Here's How Jason Momoa Removed His Muscles in That Super Bowl Commercial
The subversion of Momoa's hulking action hero persona concludes with a cameo from Momoa's wife, Lisa Bonet , who spots him as he attempts to bench an unweighted barbell.
Momoa has now revealed exactly how his uncannily slight appearance in the ad was achieved, posting a behind-the-scenes video to Instagram revealing the prosthetics, green screen work and CGI that went into creating his new look.

"It takes a hundred people moving in the same direction to bring a campaign and idea like this tot life," says Rocket Mortgage's chief marketing officer Casey Hurbis, who predicts that it will be "one of the best, if not the best, commercials in this year's Super Bowl."
VFX supervisor Jason Bergman explains that Momoa had a skinny body double during the shoot, and that the two performers had to completely mimic each other's movements during each shot in order for the body and the face to be brought together in post-production.
The end result is an impressive feat of visual effects although it will take a while for us to forget the sight of Aquaman with a combover.
