Biography: Mukesh Ambani is an Indian business tycoon known for his role as the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, one of India's most significant conglomerates. As of 2024, he is the richest person in Asia and ranks 11th globally with a net worth of $112.1 billion.

Mukesh Ambani moved to India from Aden, Yemen, with his family in 1958. He grew up with his brother Anil Ambani and his two sisters in Mumbai. He started his education at Hill Grange High School, continued at St. Xavier's College for intermediate education, and earned a BE in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology.

Ambani started an MBA at Stanford University but left the program in 1980 to help expand the family business, Reliance Industries, founded by his father.

Ambani's career at Reliance Industries began in 1981. He oversaw the construction of Patalganga, Hazira, and then the Jamnagar projects, which propelled Reliance Industries to heights of success.
